UX Design | Mental Health App
I’ve always been interested in mental health and diving deeper into the human psyche.
This is a landing page of an app I designed during the pandemic for those seeking virtual therapy sessions. It describes the company providing the services and flexibility of communication.
The user is able to see what hours their therapist is available, they can also hit an “emergency” button if the call is urgent. This will alert the therapist that the patient needs immediate assistance.
I used a purple color scheme for this app because purple in mental health represents inspiration, empathy, sense of belonging, helping others, self-respect, and dignity. The light yellow color aims to lead people to positive associations and draw their attention to it. Combining these colors will lead the user to engage and want to learn more about the app.
The customized illustration brings a sense of uniqueness to the app. I wanted it to represent clarity and growth.
I eventually want to add different mental health categories to the app such as anxiety, depression, phobias, and more. The user can listen in and meditate.
